Georgia Day – Came in to the Union

Back in 1969 my family moved to Georgia, it was a big move for me in many ways. For the previous 4 years I’d gone to a very tine school in Phoenix, had piano lessons and my only friends were Czech, saw them here and there, and a couple in my neighborhood that I knew from Cub Scouts. Georgia had some great things when I was there. Two of my claim to fame came from Atlanta Braves baseball, both involved Hank Aaron. I saw #700 and #715 in person. Another Look at Yesterday

Perhaps yesteryear is a better title, but nonetheless found this colorized old movie clip or two. It is interesting how people used to move around town, crossing the street and more. Also the horses that are part of the landscape not just for decoration.

Stay Within the Lines, National Coloring Book Day

Today is when you can go crazy with those great coloring books we all enjoyed as kids. I still have a box of Crayolas and definitely do not get to use them enough. Its like you just need to make a day of the week, or month COLORING DAY. Do you have a favorite crayon color? I actually bought a box or two at the Dollar Tree, know should be called the Dollar and a Quarter Tree but who is counting. More information on this great day located here.

Wordle Life – June

I have decided to share my monthly Wordle journey. I have saved the puzzle once solved for each month in question. I do not play every day, although I do try. I apply some luck as well as strategy in picking words, more strategy as I get to Word 3 and 4, with Word 5 an all in. Sometimes I go home. This is to just share my path. I do not start with the same word every time. I do try to get the vowels out of the way, and I guess I tend to move a correct letter into the first position if
